For Safety-Closed Practices (Players & Coaches only) to limit the amount of spectators and to abide with facility capacity guidelines.
Parents who choose to drop off their player needs to be back at least 15 mins before practice ends to assure all players are picked upon time. We have to be out the gym as soon as practice is over to assure we’re not going into anyone’s time.
- Coaches will have Thermometers to test players before practice starts. Anyone testing Over 100 degrees will not be allowed to practice that day. (If your child is feeling sick or hot please keep them home)
- Coaches (and mostly all facilities) will keep Hand Sanitizer on Hand and players will be directed and encouraged to use often.-Players should leave all Basketballs at home. Coaches will provide Balls and they will be sanitized throughout practice
- No water fountains will be available for use. No Outside Food is allowed at any facility (practice or games). Water Bottles, Bottled Water, & Gatorades are allowed. We encourage everyone to either label their bottles or keep in in their backpacks. Sharing of Drinks will not be tolerated.
- Social Distancing will be tough but we will do our best to monitor players interactions.-Per facility guidelines we can have 10 players per half court but there can be no interaction with the other half.-
- Face masks are not required but can be worn. (Face-masks with ventilators are suggested but not required)
- Tournaments and League games will have limited Spectators. Per tournament or league game Coaches will message parents the SPECTATOR LIMITATIONS and from that point we will know how many family members can come per player. (There will however be some Live-Streaming at some of the Tournaments)-Most Game days will only have 2 games to start until things get better. USUALLY these games will be Back to Back. IF ITS NOT A Back to Back the players will be transitioned to an alternative open destination.-No Facility will have all of their courts running at 1 time. Most of the facilities will only have 2 Courts running.-Most Tournaments & Leagues will only have up to 4 teams at a time in the facility.
- Remember this is a new time for everyone. We are all figuring this out together. So please work with us and all facilities. If we do so we believe that this Season will be a success. Most importantly, If you are your child isn’t feeling well please don’t hesitate to stay home.
